Can't beat these guys.

Very professional outfit. Bought the run down 2 bed unit in 2010. O'Gormans always gave good advice and great service from day 1 regarding rental etc. This 4 unit Strata property was extremely run down and under Council Order re compliance to fire safety. It was also under 'compulsory strata management' as two long term owners refused to fund maintenance. Seven solicitors and NCAT became involved which severely hampered progress. O'Gorman's RE met this very daunting challenge; selling the property in 2015 at record price, written up in the Domain News. A massive Effort brought to Magnificent Conclusion. (E=mc2)...Great people to deal with too !

Fantastic throughout sales process

I am based in London, and was looking to sell my unit in Sydney which was being managed by O'Gorman partners (by far the best rental agency on the lower north shore by the way). I considered and spoke to other agents, however was convinced that O'Gorman, and James in particular, were the right team to go with. My trust was rewarded with a fantastically executed campaign, leading to a result that far exceed my expectations. Key things that James and the team did to make the sales a success:

1. Produced a detail plan and campaign strategy up front, that was executed to the letter
2. Coordinated the preparation of the property (styling, decoration, material production)
3. Provided well informed and detailed updates on the progress of the campaign, including details of all viewings. Being overseas this was invaluable as it gave me a clear picture of how much interest there was in the property, and what the likely result at auction would be.
4. Provided candid and informed commentary on prospective buyers - who was serious, who wasn't, what their price expectations were
5. Leveraging his knowledge of the market and the type of buyers, encouraged me to hold out to auction, despite receiving a compelling pre-auction offer. The net result was that we achieved a result at auction 200K over the initial reserve, and 100K over what I had expected prior to the start of the campaign.
